Findings

The purpose of the county/regional analysis on Humboldt is to provide a local example of demonstrating impact. Since 2016, the county pursued competitive grants to support its districts through education (e.g., Multi-Tiered System of Support) and health (e.g., Mental Health Services Act Triage Bridges to Success), in addition to its ongoing funding in both sectors (e.g., Local Control Funding Formula and Mental Health Services Act). This section highlights the overall findings and themes related to these investments and expenditures. The series of analyses begins by exploring the results of different initiatives and programs independent of each other. The analyses conclude with graphical displays that explore the interrelationships between the programs (e.g., the results on the California Healthy Kids Survey between Multi-tiered System of Support and Bridges cohorts).
